Multiplied Grant Projects
The majority of our efforts and resources is currently directed toward grants, and related fundraising events that “multiply” those grants, for outreach and missions programs of other organizations that God has put on our heart to support. Recently, for example, we were blessed to have been able to organize the 3rd Annual TAF Charity Tennis Tournament through which the Lord “multiplied” our grant to Restore International for their safehouse in Kampala, Uganda.
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness… (2 Corinthians 9:10)
Service Grant Projects
We also have been called to give our time and resources directly to serving those in our community who are in need by providing service grants without an associated fundraising event. In 2011 and 2012, for example, we worked with Hope Leadership Foundation to organize a tennis camp and provide materials and equipment that taught athletic skills and God’s word to a total of over 100 inner-city youth.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
Arianna’s Mommy, Elizabeth, felt a special tug on her heart to minister to others here close to home who have also lost someone dear to them. To help provide comfort and that same hope in God’s promise that we’ll be with Arianna again some day, Elizabeth has been creating and delivering cross-stitch artwork to many in her community.
…comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. (2 Corinthians 1:4)
